Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!
We woke up this morning to 2 inches of snow on the ground - nothing like a bit of snow to get you into the Christmas spirit! Marilynn had a ball throwing the snow around in yard with her boyfriend next door. They just ran back and forth between their two yards all morning - well, until it got too cold!

Best Buds
I know this phase won't last forever, but right now, Marilynn and Erika are the best of friends. Marilynn is always looking out for her little sis. And, Erika just lights up when she's around big sister Marilynn.
Marilynn loves driving around Erika in her baby doll stroller, and Erika puts up with it. Yes, yes, I know this is not considered "manufacturer approved." But, a girl gets desperate for ways to occupy her two kids during a snowstorm and while her husband is gone all weekend at a football tournament.

Erika's Two Front Teeth
The Christmas season must be upon us, because Erika got her "two front teeth" just a few weeks before Christmas! I tried to get a few shots of the tooth, but just couldn't quite get her to open her mouth. Oh well. She turned 7 months old yesterday and she's starting to develop quite the personality. Definitely now letting us know when something is not right and then also giving us such big hugs and smiles when things are right.

Party Girl
Here's a few pictures from a birthday party of one of Marilynn's friends from school. They rented a bounce castle at the local community center and she had a blast!

A Magical Day
On Saturday Marilynn got the extra special treat of being invited to a gingerbread house making party at the house of the CEO of my company. Marilynn walked through the front door and said "Wow, it's a castle." Then, she got to make her very own castle out of gingerbread. It was a magical day for her! And yes, she went the CEO's house and didn't spill any red juice, didn't throw a tantrum and didn't even have a messy diaper. She was a perfect angel - go Marilynn!

The kids were treated to a special place setting with their own balloon and PIZZA! This is before the table got completely messy with candy, icing and gingerbread.

The kids were in candy heaven - it was just like Candy Land, but for real!

Marilynn was very meticulous with every detail of her house.

Marilynn the Environmentalist

My mom is a volunteer with Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge and she is leading up a project to plant indigenous plants that can be replanted and repopulated surrounding the new volunteer center. Miss Marilynn decided that she would "help" Granny out by digging a few holes and getting a little dirty. My little Marilynn - saving the world one tree at a time.

Uncle Christian

The girls had so much fun hanging out with Uncle Christian this past week. Marilynn brought him cookies in bed in the morning and of course didn't mind eating one or two with him. She wanted Christian to brush her teeth, get her dressed and pretty much be at her side all day. Whenever he would leave, she would just call out for him and go searching all over the house for him. She loves her uncle and she's no longer calling him "Uncle Chicken."
