Ocean Shores

We took the boys and Marilynn to Ocean Shores last Sunday and the boys had a blast jumping around in the waves and finding seashells. And for you non-Washingtonians, yes, we are wearing sweatshirts. To the beach. In June.

M.I.A.

Sorry, folks. I haven't blogged in weeks. Things just got a little crazy the past few weeks with Erika getting strep throat, then going out to Sequim for Father's Day, then going to New York for business and then having Ken's family in town. All of them (expect for Erika's strep throat) were great, yet very time consuming. So, it is now my honor to catch you all up on the past few weeks' photos.

Here's some great shots of Marilynn and Erika with their cousins Jake and Ryan. They came up to visit us from Texas with Ken's mom and we all had a blast. It was so cute to see Marilynn with her cousins - they are life-long buddies.

Picnic by the Lake

We've been having some excellent weather lately and took the girls to Newcastle Beach Park for a picnic. Erika loved eating all of the sand and Marilynn just enjoyed being outside in the sun.

Riding Bikes

Marilynn has turned into quite the tricycle riding pro - we're thinking about training her for the Olympic trials. One of her favorite places to go is a park by our house with lots of pathways and she likes to go with her favorite person - her boyfriend Nathan. Well, and little sister and mommy of course.

Children's Museum

I decided to renew our membership to the children's museum last weekend when it was rainy outside and I had the girls to myself for the weekend while Ken was camping. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Well, ever since then it has been sunny. Go figure. Anyways, the girls always have a blast there - rain or shine.

An Evening at the Park

The weather the other night was just perfect, so we headed out to Marymoor Park. Here's a few pictures and a video for your viewing enjoyment:
